This panorama was taken during spring wildflowers on Dallas Divide, which connects Telluride and Ridgway. The lupine, mules ear and Indian paintbrush create a dramatic black and white image with a storming background over the Sneffels Mountain Range. This old aspen fence line is part of the famous Last Dollar Ranch where the original Marlboro Man mostly photographed. I can remember how sweet smelling this field was as I photographed this scene before the storm soaked me.
